Interesting. I did not know the folks in Bristol CT had a radio club.

I have a new 3D printer so I am doing some stands for my HT's. Here's one designed for the Icom ID-51 but the ID-52 fits just fine!

Since everyone has mentioned some kind of wintry weather this weekend for ATL, I thought it might be helpful to gather what everyone is saying in one place.

Consensus seems to be a wintry mix with temps below freezing. NWS says 16% likelihood of 1" or more of snow.

Back to work on the NAS upgrade. Disk 1 was added last night and the data set restored itself. Now disk 2 is going in. Another 12 hours or so and then I'll have increased my storage by about 3x.

Today’s project it to upgrade the storage in my NAS. Felix has offered to assist.

Just had my last pass in the @arissintl.bsky.social SSTV Year End event, so let's take a look at how I did. Looks like 9/12 recognizable images with 4 really good quality. I'll take it!

I was sitting at my desk this morning and I heard a blip on the radio. It was the tail end of an SSTV transmission. I used the 2 minute break between images to set up and I caught this nice image from @arissintl.bsky.social.

I’m loving the great technology time we live in. I can now watch the Jets and the Giants lose simultaneously. 😳

Pretty close to done in the ARRL 10 Meter contest. 128 contacts so far. I love the change to do a World Radio League map.

Doing the 10M ham radio contest this weekend. It's notable to me because it's so noticeable the way the bands swing. In the mornings I'm getting all the Europe I can ask for. In the afternoon yesterday it was more stations west of me.

Working on my video production cart setup. So here's one of my favorite ham radio jokes.

I’m building a production cart to do videos at home. Mic selection is a thing.
