I usually just think of those as the "Content Creator/Streamer Edition" and it's the companies' way of getting free publicity before the game releases. I'm still not a big fan of it and I hope this trend dies out sooner rather than later.

Road 96 is absolutely goated, more people should play it. Mile 0 was a bit weak though compared to it.

Odd story aside this is such a cool game. I usually don't like space/flight games but this one does it's flying and combat really well and I enjoyed it a lot.

I'm definitely in the minority here but Zesteria will always be my favourite. It was my first Tales of game and I loved Sorey's positivity and wholesomeness. Also Zaveid is just so damn cool.

I don't mind exploring a map for objectives as long as they're optional like side quests, but I dislike open world games that are big just for the sake of being big. It leads to maps being mostly empty spaces with nothing/repetitive content in them.
