I like the title "The Magic Shop". I was a magician in my youth and thought I was gonna grow up to be the next Doug Henning (yes, I am dating myself). My father and grandfather were actually professional magicians before going into construction (which doesn't sound nearly as fun).

A dichotomy:

1). Our level of convenience these days is taken for granted.

2). The adventurous spirit required to go out on a cold winter's evening and search through hundreds of titles until you find a movie to take home and pop into the VHS player is taken for granted.

I am in the USA. I've been in the state of Wyoming for 16 months. It's what you might think of as the "Wild West" with Mountains, prairies, buffalo, antelope, tumble weeds and lots of wide open spaces.

I can't imagine making the move you did, to a whole new culture and language. It's inspiring.

Yes, I have a cup, or two, every day. When I was young I liked it with cream and sugar but now I drink it black. I also like it with frothy milk in a nice oat milk latte (but those are expensive so they are an occasional treat).
