If you’re making a smaller pot or for a large group and eating soon after, this matters less. But if you’re intending to meal prep and freeze it, it’s really important to the texture after reheating.

This will mean you don’t lose all of your actual soup liquid to the noodles (making turkey stew) and will help your noodles hold up better cause they are cooked and only added at the very end as soup is portioned out to cool. Higher quality egg noodles also won’t disintegrate as easily.

And even visualization isn’t the only part of perception! Some people get different sensory experiences as part of information processing, like synesthesia. Everyone’s experience of the world is truly unique, which I think is really cool.

It’s such a cool concept. And just cause you picture things vividly or not, doesn’t mean you are more or less creative either! It’s just how your brain is perceiving input. Brains are still such a mystery!

I don’t think everyone experiences print or visual media the same way. And for some, it’s not just whether you generally like the subject matter but how immersive the experience is for you. If something is off and you’re deep in the experience, it feels really really off.
