WordPress 6.8 will use bcrypt for password hashing
The underlying algorithm that’s used to hash and store user passwords in the database will be changed in WordPress 6.8 from phpass portable hashing to bcrypt.

Just upgraded the mysites.guru service to use the latest PHP version, manage.mysites.guru is now powered by PHP 8.4.4 & @symfony.com 7.2.3
