SNAP for my family is $2.60 per meal per person. TANF is $432/mo for us & I've been trying to get back on SSI for years, but still no luck because it's so goddamn hard. (I got it as a kid and in my early 20s.) We're miserably poor. Yet not enough for the GOP. No one chooses this. It's not enough.

We're -$750ish 'cause of this SNAP shit Trump is doing. We have about $300 after bills, before food & other needs this month now. For the 3 of us.

I was convinced that my ankle surgeries would fix my pain & make me able to walk (& hike!) like I used to again. Unfortunately no such luck. When I use my upright walker instead of my wheelchair I still have severe pain from the bottom of my feet to my knees. Hoping PT & orthotics will do it. 🤷♀️😥

Watching news always breaks my heart again & again. I'm usually able to bear witness & maintain compassion & passion to fight for change without the pain being too much. But today & sometimes it's too much & that's when it's time for extra self care! Don't forget to love yourselves too!

Worried the GOP will find a way to undo the court ordered pause on the SNAP cut before we get them. Because the $ is not showing up yet when it normally would at least as pending by now. (Families get them on the 1st-10th. I get mine on the sooner side of that normally.)
