Join us this Saturday, November 15, for a community paper shredding and recycling event. Bring up to 5 paper bags or small boxes of personal/confidential documents.

Please stay in your vehicle for safety & smooth traffic flow.
Watching the shredding is not allowed.

💅 On Wednesdays, we don’t use plastic bags (or any other day, for that matter).

Starting January 1, 2026, most Montgomery County stores will no longer offer plastic bags, and paper bags will cost 10¢.

Happy Monday! Today, we got to team up with the Poolesville Global Ecology Program and have a workday. Students were able to learn about native plants, gain hands-on experience restoring the environment and learn about different environmental jobs. 16 years of making eco-moves and we keep growing!

The Grosvenor Luxmanor Tributary Stream Restoration project will begin in June and is expected to be completed in November 2026. The project is part of the County’s ongoing effort to restore degraded streams, enhance aquatic habitat and reduce pollution caused by stream erosion. bit.ly/4kJvV4B

On May 1st, we celebrated 18 talented students during the award ceremony for our School Waste Reduction, Reuse and Recycling Art Contest. This year’s contest focused on “Reducing Single-use Plastic in Schools” and drew an impressive 155 entries from 27 schools across the County.
