Devourer of all things movies, TV, music, and food. Occasional bowler too.
#WakeUpDeadMan is another strong outing from Rian Johnson's wonderful whodunit series. Hilarious while also being the most visually striking and thematically rich of the films. Craig is great as always but Josh O'Connor's the standout. See it in theaters if you can.

No better way to spend Black Friday than seeing a Knives Out film on the big screen.

#Zootopia2 is a very worthy sequel to its excellent predecessor. It expands upon the world as well as its main duo while still being hilarious and delving into some mature themes. Beautifully animated too. Not quite as fresh as the original but still pretty great.

Didn't expect to get hit with the feels by the end. I'll happily take at least 10 more of these.
Really enjoyed the first film so here's hoping the sequel delivers.

Watched #TrainDreams last night and was absolutely captivated by it. A quiet and deliberately paced yet powerful exploration of loss, loneliness, and memory. Gorgeously shot with some terrific performances and an incredible score. Easily one of the year's best.

#RentalFamily is a sweet and tender-hearted film about finding connections and filling voids in our lives. Wonderful performances and great locales. Can get borderline too sentimental at times but I was won over by its earnestness.

#WickedForGood once again features two incredible performances from Erivo and Grande as well as some incredible production and costume design. Sadly the awkward pacing, rushed storytelling, and some dodgy visuals keep this from making this conclusion "good".

Don't hurt me, Wicked stans.
Sooo I kinda get why Part 2 was always considered the lesser of the two halves 😬
Ready to walk out a changed man (for good).

Fun enough action romp with some enjoyable sequences, a great lead performance by Glen Powell, and a glorious supporting role by Colman Domingo. Wright's style only occasionally shows, it's a bit tonally inconsistent, and the last 3rd's kinda messy. Entertaining but could've been better.

Between this and the final season of Bel-Air, there's really no reason to still keep Peacock
Rian Johnson's #PokerFace has been cancelled at Peacock after two seasons — but the show's creator has Peter Dinklage shaped plans for the show's future yet.
