Those familiar with the musical know Act 1 ends with all the drama being unleashed, as such, the movie with you craving more!! Can’t believe we have to wait another year. 🥺😭 #WickedMovie

All the supporting characters were well casted and met expectations.

Jonathan Bailey continues to fool us into believing he is a straight man.

Bowen Yang has hilarious one liners throughout.

Michelle Yeoh played the wolf in sheep’s clothing perfectly.

As for acting, again, have no fear! This is a role made for her!

She made the character less high strung which I loved. All the blonde, self-absorbed, dramatic humor is still there! She just brings more bad b*tch (for lack of a better term) to the character. #WickedMovie

Vocally, her pronunciation was FINE! Only time you’ll struggle to understand is when she’s hitting higher notes. But real singers know, when you’re singing that high, you’re only getting vowels. 😂

Also real fans know the words so quit crying about that anyways. 🙄

Whatever fears you have about her in this role, LET THEM GO! She’s everything you hope Galinda to be and more! Of course being the first choice of THEE Kristin Chenoweth, I had no doubt.

Cinematically, look I’m no cinematographer, all I do is take flicks on my iPhone, but I can confirm the complaints about backlighting are valid. It was issue through most of Dancing Through Life. Maybe it was intentional? Idkkk. #WickedMovie

Okay, my thoughts.

Visually, the movie was gorgeous! I know folks were convinced that Oz looked dreary from the trailers, but not true! It all looked very whimsical and colorful!
There’s even an evening scene where the plants and wildlife are luminescent! #WickedMovie
