I work the lunch shift on Black Friday, as well as the lunch shift tomorrow and Saturday. So fingers crossed the start of the holiday season gets better

I had to jump in and help the bartender as the store manager already sent the cooks home but orders kept coming in since we hadn't closed our online service.
Many of the drivers were upset, and one even forgot part of their order, because of the wait time

The corporate bosses didn't give us the go ahead to close in hopes that we'll get it fixed, so the bartender (who gave me a ride so I didn't pay to get home in the cold) was stuck for hours completing online orders (Door Dash, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, etc.) for $2.13/hr few tips

Knowing that he's surrounded by the best medicine that money can get you, I have no doubt of that. He will finish his term. That being said, any hopes of him being in power any longer is pretty low

Specifically, I ask that you back up your words of support with tangible actions. A speech and social media post can only do so much when matched up against social isolation and violence.

Whether or not you plan on attending events or gatherings to honor the day, I ask you to show solidarity with me and other trans people before our lives are ended prematurely.
