I’m struck by how many people have walked away from important positions to try and warn us that catastrophe is nigh and how little impact sounding the alarm has had on the public or the Congress.

I've never once related to "hope being powerful" or whatever nonsense.
AFIACT 'hope' == 'wishful thinking'. I've tried so many times to get folks to explain hope to me, yet I remain flummoxed by it. If you have a good explanation of hope and its importance I'm dying to hear it...

Just been told that a trans guy was having his meds withheld by his GP in NI for reasons. For 3 weeks they 'couldn't' sort it. Legal action was threatened. The perscription was issued within an hour.
