Hi everyone, I keep meaning to actually post on here. I'm Ori, I'm a trans masc Indigenous Latino. I'm an artist and writer, but life has been a lot lately so I kind of got out of the habit of posting the stuff I make online. I'd like to get back into it, so watch this space!

Hospital protests have begun for hospitals that are complying with an executive order banning gender affirming care.
The order does NOT have the force of law, but some hospital systems are too scared of trump to defend trans kids in their care.

There is no calamity so huge that there is not beauty and humor and joy to be had in the moments between actively working on solving or evading it.
Learning to take those moments, embrace the hell out of them, is what will make it all worth it, at whatever point you reach the end.

So I’ve had my 1st Black History Month event cancellation because of “DEI concerns,” citing a fear of frivolous suits. Funny thing is, I don’t do DEI, I’m a historian of the Black American experience. A reminder that DEI is just a dog whistle about suppressing history, if you need a reminder.
