Solid no-nonsense highly competent and pragmatic Dem governor. She'd really give Collins a run for her money - even in the conservative northern part of Maine where they're both from. I'm on board!
I am so into this. Janet Mills has been one of the best governors in the country.
And she is from the conservative second district - which should give her more juice than candidates from around Portland.

We got some really good news here in Maine this morning! Our fabulous governor Janet Mills is considering running against Susan Collins for her Senate seat in 2026.
