When I discovered Tōtara under decades of paint, I instantly switched to stripping and varnishing everything that the sun won't immediately destroy. Still a work in progress, but just glorious.

It really depends on how much you've taken care of yourself, what injuries you've had, genetics and luck. 30s and 40s were fine for me. Now I'm wondering why we weren't properly warned what it would be like.
