Matt Arnold has been named 2025 MLB executive of the year for the second straight year, as voted on by his peers.

Arnold was promoted to President of Baseball Operations last month. The Brewers would be wise to make sure they keep him around for a very long time.

I think if I'm the Bucks I'd seriously consider starting Kuz over GTJ and then backfilling with Pete Nance. Amir Coffey can sit

With regards to the Packers offense, are we reading too much into a 2 game sample? Outside of the last 2 weeks our offense has been elite by basically any metric.

Thats a bad loss for the Bucks. No way around it

Seems likely that we've seen Elgton's final game as a Packer
Packers HC Matt LaFleur says it's "highly unlikely" that Elgton Jenkins returns from his leg fracture this season.

It's against some pretty poor competition but I really like the Garlock/Bieliauskas front court pairing off the bench for Wisconsin

2025 NL Manager of the Year: Pat Murphy.

Murph joins Bobby Cox (2004-05) and Kevin Cash (2020-21) as the only skippers to win the honor in back-to-back years. After two years as a big-league manager, Murphy is halfway to the all-time record of four MOY awards.

This article by Justis does a great job diagnosing the problem, but is light on solutions other than just figure it out. I haven't seen many people come up with potential solutions to how to play against 2 high safety with a bad OL

We (except @cyrthogg.bsky.social) don’t talk nearly enough about how sneaky good the #Brewers 2018 draft class is. They have 31.0 bWAR and many are just getting started.

1) Turang 11.8
4) Ashby 1.4
6) Rasmussen 11.1
7) Fry 0.7
11) Daniel 0.1
13) Olson 4.4
17) Andrews -0.9
36) Williamson 1.9

One thing that has been overlooked imo is the Packers drafting Savion Williams. They clearly dont trust him as a WR and only run gadget stuff for him. Using a 3rd round pick on a gadget only player is beyond dumb

2. Rasheed Walker 71.2

5. Christian Watson 67.3

Worst
1. Aaron Banks 43.2
2. John Fitzpatrick 48.1

By the end of tonight's game the Packers were down Reed, Golden, Kraft, & Doubs as pass catchers. Our WRs were Watson, Wicks, and then a group consisting of Malik Heath, Savion Williams, & Bo Melton. Yikes

Dusty with a great take here
Here's the one thing I'll say before I disappear into a cloud of film and stats to form real, informed opinions.
I don't think LaFleur should be coaching for his job. Outside of some weird time management stuff, I haven't really had an issue with his gameplan/playcalling.
That being said...
Packers HC Matt LaFleur on if he's coaching for his job:

"I'll leave that for everyone else to decide. I'll just focus on the day-to-day. I feel like you're always coaching for everything in this league. It's just my mindset. That's always been that way."

Bucks win 116-114!

-Giannis with 30/8/6 & 3 blocks
-Kuzma 26/5 off the bench
-Turner had 14/7
-Rollins 13/4/8, 2 steals, and a big time bucket at the end
-AJG & Portis each with 13 pts as well

They arent the only problem but I truly believe the offensive line is the root of the Packers Offensive issues. A bad OL just makes everything immensely more difficult
November 11, 2025 at 4:36 AM
I just don't know what they do from here. The way to beat two high safety is to run the ball but they cant run the ball. I'm not sure how they fix that
November 11, 2025 at 4:24 AM
It was a bad play call

If it wasn't a bad play call, The line can't hold up

If the line does hold up love makes a bad decision

If love makes a good throw the receivers drop the ball

If the receiver catches the ball it's a penalty

Besides that, how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?

After his 19 tackle performance, Cooper Catalano is the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week
November 10, 2025 at 8:01 PM
I've been a big defender of MLF, but Philly has a great run defense and their secondary can be had, I need him to let Jordan Love go tonight(even if thats a lot of short & intermediate routes)
