Governor Pritzker in Illinois. Say no to Federal Troop deployments. They are a private, unsanctioned, unneeded, illegal private army being sent under false pretenses.
Trump is now pulling 300 California National Guard troops out of Los Angeles and sending them to Portland.
Governors said no, so he’s taking other states’ troops instead.

I just used the calling links below to call Senator Dick Durbin who caved earlier this year and let Republicans pass the Big "Beautiful" Bill that has started to destroy my healthcare and increase my food costs. DC lines jammed but repeating got me to his other office!
If Democrats stay united in the government funding fight, they can stop or even reverse some of Trump’s cruel healthcare cuts and lawless power grabs. That means it's extra important for our Democratic Members of Congress to hear from us right now: indivisible.org/camp...

Good chunk of my career protecting the public’s health. RFK Jr’s destruction of health protection makes me sad and angry.
I’ve spent a good chunk of my career relying on American science and engineering to keep me alive. Yesterday, RFK Jr. testified at the U.S. Senate Finance Committee. It was sad to see him try to destroy the life’s work of so many American scientists. He shouldn’t be in this job.

It’s sometimes easy to see when people do bad things, even governments. The Constitution protects our complaints and dissent about this.

In America, speaking freely is a right that matters deeply to us all. So when pundits and politicians vilify people who stand up for their beliefs, I have to ask "Why?" Is this about safety...or control? It's certainly not about patriotism. You don’t defend democracy by silencing it. Speak up!
