Mutual Aid Monday | Grassroots mutual aid in Denver. We reject charity models and stand in solidarity with our unhoused neighbors. Survival is collective resistance.
We will continue to take care of us, practicing radical hope for a more just world. Silence is not an option—and at MAM, we refuse to be complicit in this fascist empire.
We are not free until we are ALL free.

With Love, Solidarity, and Liberation for ALL,
Mutual Aid Monday

MAM will fiercely advocate for those in need, no matter how “undeserving” this fascist regime tries to label them.

Yet Mutual Aid Monday will continue to stand in solidarity—with our unhoused neighbors, with POGM, with LGBTQIA2S+ communities, with those violently abducted from their homes, and with all who fight for their basic human rights in the face of genocide.

In what often seems impossible, mutual aid offers hope for a better world. And that’s precisely why mutual aid is a threat to the capitalist empire—because solidarity cannot be commodified. Many mutual aid efforts in this country have been targeted, shut down, or even labeled as terrorism.

We believe in solidarity and abundance—not in the false and fearful sense of scarcity used to control communities that are purposefully marginalized and oppressed. MAM stands for an inclusive, intersectional community, working together in cycles of community care.

We work outside traditional systems that cause harm, honoring the ancient Indigenous wisdom of mutual aid. By living in reciprocity with one another and this planet, MAM hopes to inspire change for those harmed and forgotten.

Mutual Aid Monday (MAM) began in November 2020 during the George Floyd protests, taking collective action to meet the basic survival needs of our community. MAM has always been, and will always be, an act of protest against the intentional systemic failures that produce housing and food insecurity.
