almost three months at new job in new place and i am trying to relearn myself. its hard to describe and i should probably keep a journal

everytime i travel, i imagine every city i pass as the land it once was. no ugly concrete, no smog burning your lungs, no thousands of people congested together in misery.
just endless plains, mountains, trees, beautiful clean waters and skies.
but i know one day it'll all return to what it was.

The America that existed before any European set foot on its soil was more beautiful than we could ever conceptualize. It was landscaped by its inhabitants. Ecosystems unseen anywhere else on earth. Skies blackened by flocks of pigeons. Billions of bison roaming coast to coast.

i redid the whole head and torso topo!! i think when i edited the mesh with sculpts and transforms it kind of warped?? the edges were all fucked so i just said fuck it and spent yesterday working on retopo. polyquilt add-on you are my best friend

i really do take one step forward and two steps back when i make models!! like ill have one big improvement or jump the gun on something, but then i have to go back because “well the eye socket is a little too jagged, the ears shrunk a bit too much without the subdivider”
