"It's dangerous to go alone. Take this."
Zoe Boyd, welcome to Boston 🤭

Honestly, I just assumed "muito city" was some kind of subset of NYC culture and just rolled with it. I mean, it's a big city with lots of people and cultures. Seemed a reasonble assumption to me.

Just like McConnell had no choice but to bring Obama's Supreme Court nominee up for a vote... Wait, what's that? I'm getting an update from the control room... Oh, oh no.

What's sad is I don't know if this is in relation to something new from the hour, if it's in relation to the previous hours' capitulation that makes one want to buy a pitchfork, if it's just a general reaction to the times, or if perhaps this account has been co-opted by @infinitescream.bsky.social.

[Switching over to my "cute animals" feed on Bluesky to escape news.]

"Hey! I know that account! I usually see them on my "following" feed. Nice cross-over. Cute cat!"

If Chuck Schumer were a hostage negotiator...

He'd call it a success while the bodies of all the dead hostages lay in the background of his press conference.
If Chuck Schumer were a hostage negotiator...

The bad guys would get an escort to the airport where they have a waiting gulfstream set to fly to a non-extradition country.

I woke up from a nap this afternoon (because I've been burned out) only to see all of this go down. I'm wishing I'd just not woken up until the morning. At least then I could have gotten some decent rest.

His was the office I tried calling earlier, only to get a recording telling me to call back during business hours. Then it disconnected the call. 🤬

Alas, I don't have time to go through and "Like" all the comments tearing you to shreds, but perhaps you have a comms person watching this post — unlike your office phones — amd they'll talk some sense into you.

Otherwise, enjoy the ratio, 'cause that's the last thing you're getting from us.

Please, enlighten us, @kaine.senate.gov, assuming they held a vote, what do you expect to happen when Republicans control both houses? If you truly believe anything meaningful will come from that, you're not just a disappointment and a disgrace, but you're too ignorant for the job.

DON'T CAVE!
THIS DOES NOT SERVE THE PEOPLE.

AS A CONSTITUENT, I'M ASKING YOU TO HOLD FIRM. A *PROMISE* FOR A LATER VOTE ACCOMPLISHES NOTHING.

I WILL SUPPORT PRIMARY CHALLENGERS IF YOU DECIDE TO GIVE UP EVEN WHILE THE REST OF US HAVE CONTINUED.
November 10, 2025 at 1:01 AM
I just valled my slSenator's office to encourage him to hold firm, too, but I got an automated message saying to call back during business hours. Seems he's not set up for receiving constituent input in real-time. 🤨
I at least reached the other Senator.

Advice I'd seen elsewhere, for folks who receive SNAP, especially places like Wisconsin that received and paid out full benefits, GO TO THE GROCERY STORE AND USE THE MONEY TODAY, NOW, before it possibly gets clawed back.

It'd be ironic if this somehow springboarded support for high-speed rail.

If it's the spot I'm thinking of, I remenber randomly stumbling upon that one time. A nice panoramic view and *silence.*

I love the vocal inflection, and thank you for adding this bit of joy to the world. Of course, if do sell your soul, please keep us posted so we can follow your dancing career.
