I deleted my facebook account today. I hadn't really posted there in years, but kept it active so that people that I grew up with could find me. However, I can no longer justify keeping myself on that account. Next is Instagram.

James Mangold really likes the song “It Ain’t Me Babe,” doesn’t he? I’m not complaining btw.

This week was so busy at work that I haven't had a lot of time to process. I have a lot of feelings and they are all sad right now. However, I am thinking of how do I build community, how do I get involved, how do I protect myself, my loved ones and my community. I want to be a force for good.

I’m feeling that crazy feeling of hope again. It’s different than the Obama hope. We have suffered through the pandemic, but realized our lives could be so much more. The old ways just don’t hit. We are not going back.

This morning was crazy but I did get to go eat breakfast while I waited for my computer to work again. Relaxing morning and then stressful afternoon. Ready for the weekend. Matt’s Big Breakfast. Yummo

I find myself at a place I never thought I would be: High School Wrestling State Championship Meet. Cheering on my nephew. Go Liberty. 🤼‍♂️

Saw this on my way to lunch in Phoenix. Loved the art on the wall, but that random grill on top
Of the Walgreens truck makes it art.

On this Labor Day, I’m remembering my grandparents who were farm laborers in Arizona. I went to church with them at OLPH in Glendale and I remembered they sang “Des colores.” Later I learned it is the unofficial anthem of the United Farm Worker union.
