It is worth the late finish, today, as all psalms are now composed for Sundays in Year A, taking us up to Advent Sunday 2026! As several Year B psalms have already received Concordats, psalms are now composed until the end of Eastertide 2027!

That’s the next batch of psalms sent off, today. That is psalms composed until the end of Eastertide 2026, with concordats issued up to the end of September 2025!

We have just received our latest Concordat from the Bishops' Conference for England and Wales for our latest batch of responsorial psalms composed for use in the Diocese, using the text of the new lectionary. Find out more about using them by emailing musicdept@rcdmidd.org.uk

A new year is a good time to take things up. We are looking for new members for our Cathedral Choirs, with opportunities available for children from age 7+ upwards, for teenagers, and adults of all ages! The commitment varies from twice weekly to once monthly!

Bishop Terry launched the Jubilee Year in @MbroDiocese at Mass, this morning, at the Cathedral. The crucifix which will remain in the Cathedral throughout the Holy Year had been brought by pilgrims overnight from the Lady Chapel.
