Oh, sure. Upscaling the entire thing is a shit show.

But using it for spot fixes for specific scenes: that's got to be better than seeing the puke machine.

Yeah, that’s the pain. You could solder leads onto the spots you want to test, but that would get tedious if you want to test a lot of stuff. Steve and Techknight rigged up systems using just the harness. I made The Abomination for testing boards from any internal logic boards systems.
