Gathered yesterday before the rain arrived today. I have found a new spot to pose my flowers for the camera
A glass vase balanced on a painted wooden stool which has seen better days. The vase contains 4 rose blooms. Berry, Champagne, Sunset and Fond Memory. Cerise, cream orange and pink. Surprisingly this eclectic mix sit well together. The light on an outside covered deck and the sunshade blind behind the vase combine to show off the blooms nicely. The focus is sharp and the colours bright and true.

I have just finished the orange and blue hat with the 'scarf' and pompom for Mr 5 and a half . All his choices. I was very unsure about this one but it came together ok I think.

Well done you. I mastered lacy knitting to make our granddaughter a hat. Tiny win in the scheme of things but it made me smile. The wavy edge looks better after I blocked it.
