Had such a great time meeting people and playtesting at #PAXUnplugged! Thanks to everyone who tried The Fair at Grenden Village and to @unpub.org for providing support!

Just...why? Why have they decided this game so undeserving of self-respect?

The prototype for Regency Counsel is in, and after the first playtest I am so excited for what this game has to offer. Great feedback from the players and a big step forward for my design skills!

I would also give a shoutout to miscalculation. Miscalc is an early and incredibly clean version of cards we've seen more and more of over the years: Good early (counter) and good late (cycling)

Sometimes on Valentine's Day, the best person to spend it with is your best buddy. Even if she is just a lil furball. #cardoftheday

Sometimes you just need to stop and smell the roses. Or for the #cardoftheday, the olives.

Slither along with the #cardoftheday. Just don't step in the river.

Teddaren elves have seen their farmlands pushed further and further toward the desert after generations of feeding Al Rimmad. But there will always be a #cardoftheday willing to keep the tradition alive.

The outskirts of Al Rimmad are littered with the sails and hulls of airships from far and wide. Board the #cardoftheday, and see where the wind takes you.

A simple merfolk with a simple goal: sell some plants. Any #cardoftheday should be thrilled to have that luxury.

The floodlands represented the only lushness that remained of the Waste's vast landscape. It made Yurgo's decision all the easier when he began his march from Al Rimmad. The scouring of the #cardoftheday had begun.

Like the tide, the fury of a crowd can rise and crash in an instant, and recede just as fast. The #cardoftheday is far more punchy than most.

One need only seek the desert's warm embrace to find companionship in the Watchers of the Waste. And the #cardoftheday is no exception.

When sailing makes up most of your job, making sales takes up most of your #cardoftheday.

As the shadow of the #cardoftheday passed through the city, it gripped each passerby in its shuddering embrace. Those who remained were consumed, those who fled were never found. All the while, as ever, Yurgo was watching.

I tried to write this post a few times, going between harsh language and a more civil tone. Here goes: This style of art does not belong in a fantasy game. It is tonally dissonant and distracts from the deeper and more meaningful flavor that the card would otherwise present. Magic has lost its way.

Are you clever or cooked? The #cardoftheday will have you second guessing everything.

From the sea emerged a hulking sight, and the mariners shouted as it splashed the waves with glittering spray. This was their chance, before the #cardoftheday submerged once more.

After running down alleys and ducking through stalls, there was nowhere left to turn. The Shadowguard knew the city better than anyone. The #cardoftheday met its match.

The Spiceway is long, and at times, barren. But in the small pockets of civilization there are also small moments of respite. #cardoftheday
