I have been listening to #DaveBrubeck albums over the last few months, chronologically, and this album's time period, late 50's is where I start to really dig the band's sound. They seem to created a beautiful group touch through cohesion. Their feel is so delicious!

Locust Abortion Technician by #Buttholeaurfers, still amazingly weird. Listening and wondering about their production techniques. A lot of layering and unique sounds. Probably crazy rad to watch them produce their records! 🤘

Finished the laundry, @mariekondo2.bsky.social style, being using her methods for years now, thank you!
Next up, and album I know nothing about, but was intrigued by instrumentation. I am looking more for music I can use in breathwork sessions. This may be too poppy.

I am going back and forth with sitting and listening, then a task. This is folding laundry. A beautiful brass band recording from early 70's. Harold Dejan explains the funeral process and the bands role to open the album.

Tonight's sonic dim sum starts off with Where Fortune Smiles. John McLaughlin(g), Stu Martin(d), John Surman(Ss,Bs,) Karl Berger(vibes) and Dave Holland(b). Free jazz session, all equal contributors. McLaughlin transition period from Miles to Mahavishnu.
The recording had a time period feel.
