Early morning 5 mile walk to refresh my head before heading over to Morecambe this afternoon for the final day of the punk festival. Obvious highlights will be GBH and Faintest Idea but also looking forward to Swarf Damage, Pest, The Gakk and Hardskin. Must try not to drink too much too early 😖

Couldn't resist getting tickets for Garbage and Skunk Anansie at Halifax Piece Hall next year. Both bands debut albums were part of the soundtrack of my teenage years.

Great gig in Liverpool last night! @randomhand.co.uk smashed it as always. I was really impressed with Sadaxe too. Rough Trade is a cool little venue, would definitely go back there.

Finally got round the giving the new Jodie Faster album, Saint Lundi, a spin. Absolute belter of an album. 19 songs in just over 20 minutes, these guys play fast as fuck. Such a distinctive guitar sound too. Highly recommended!

Big walk this morning from Torver up over Coniston Old Man and back. 8.31 miles, 2,784 feet of climbing. It's fair to say my legs are quite sore now.
