It really gives away the game that what’s animating this discussion is not personal education and the flowering of each child as a mind but instead the competition for scarce elite educational resources and the fact that grades are an industrial process.

Im already maxing out my corporate match and giving more besides, honestly while some people need the reminder I just ignore it. But it’s a reminder that anything, even charity, ca become systematized.
