The Good Government Hotline recently completed an investigation based on a tip, and substantiated an allegation of waste. Employees and community members can submit tips online, or by calling 888-289-6839.

A Multnomah County audit reveals systemic accountability and feedback issues impacting equity efforts. Employee outcome disparities exist across several demographic groups. Some departments lack equity data analysis.

The Department of Community Justice audit found that from 2019 - 2024, the use of jail sanction days increased. Sanctions disproportionately impacted those with a documented history of serious mental illness, Black and African Americans, and Native Americans.

Mult Co. Auditor’s Office issued the second report on the Library Recommendation Status Evaluation of the 2023 Library audit. Seven recommendations are found to be implemented, four recommendations to be in process, and one remaining recommendation to not be implemented.
