#Showmetoutknits What’s on your needles? I finished my test knit and I hope to have it blocked and photos taken in 2-3 days. Today I’m as fall turns to muted stick season I’m enjoying knitting a happy yellow. Making the Peace Hat to give away to someone who needs it.

I never liked Wollf....This confirms itm
Michael Wolff tried to buy New York Mag — with money from Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein.

So Wolff didn't just have a reporter-source relationship with Epstein. Nor was Wolff his informal PR adviser. They saw each other as potential business partners.

Blurred lines: how Michael Wolff aspired to be part of elite circles he wrote about
The writer who features prominently in newly released Jeffrey Epstein emails has achieved extraordinary access but faced questions about his journalistic ethics

KUDOS to Dems for their courage in releasing these emails today!

Whaaaaat? That’s incredible.
TIL that blood platelets have serotonin receptors, which is why anemia can mimic depression symptoms and that is absolutely fucking fascinating.

Agree with the note House Republicans***
Johnson hs every intention of keeping the House closed until Dec 2nd. If the TN special election goes Repub then there won’t be a deciding vote to release the Epstein files. TN were counting on you to get justice for child victims of pdfs.
Agree with this.

About to publish something on the airplane mess. But this too is ON THE REPUBS. It is not a reason to cave. Dems, it is a time to keep standing up.
Opening the government with no concessions from GOP merely to alleviate airline cancellations - when Congress has been dragging its feet for years on chronic FAA staffing issues - is a lame ass choice.

Also, doing it while the House refuses to work is appalling.

Putting everything else aside (to the degree possible), what kind of fool takes the republicans party at their word, and believes in anything they promise.

If you were anywhere but in a coma for the last decade, this makes absolutely no sense.
“A promise of a vote on healthcare” is nothing

They’d probably be upset if we saved this and posted it to every ICE recruiting Ad, BP propaganda, or Kristi Noem vanity post. So probably we shouldn’t do that. Definitely shouldn’t project it on the walls of ICE facilities.

The green is on my active needles for a test knit coming soon. The socks became lingering WIPs as I worked through two test knits. They don’t qualify for the naughty basket yet. Still determined to finish them.

In 2008, a blogger named Curtis Yarvin called for a future president to kill foreign aid programs as part of a plan to replace democracy with dictatorship.

Now 600,000 people are dead—and 14 million will die by 2030, according to the Lancet. This is the running death toll of tech fascism.

@Amazon is partnering w ICE to rent/sell warehouses to use as detention centers. I’d been using my prime membership at the bare minimum only for necessities I couldn’t get. Just cancelled my membership. Not giving 🧊 or any Nazis that help them my money.

Hey @pbsnewshour.bsky.social why credit the late Dr Watson with the discovery of the DNA helix. He & Dr Crick stole & took credit for the work of Rosalind Franklin who captured a high res photograph of the helix of DNA through XR chrystalography. A known WS is certainly capable of misogyny at work

Those well known deep blue states of Georgia, Virginia, and Ohio.

If JD Vance's brother getting hammered harder that Pete Hegseth in the state Vance's career came from isn't a referendum on the Trump admin, I don't know what is.

Good morning.

Last night was a referendum on Trump's corruption, cruelty, and chaos.

But it's also not a coincidence these big wins came at the exact moment when Democrats are using our power to stand for something and be strong.

A huge risk to not learn that lesson.

if there was a rich person with the will, you could build the most incredible news organization that has ever existed just from the wreckage of this year alone.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.
