There were some new faces but nothing too crazy.” Steve shrugs, then asks a burning question. “How was Wayne's doctor’s appointment?” He wiggles his eyebrows suggestively. “The old man is pregnant.” Eddie rolls his eyes in fond exasperation. “I definitely didn't need to know that Wayne still has heats.” He grimaces. “I’m sure you'll survive. You'll get to be a big brother.” Steve laughs. Steve smiles at the sweet image of Eddie with a pup on his hip that has the eyes he shares with Wayne but Dmitri’s nose. Then the vision shifts the pup into one with Steve's chestnut hair and Eddie’s dimples. He wants that so badly he can practically taste it; but he knows Eddie would want to do it more traditionally than his uncle.
