I wrote a very critical review of a research paper full of classical beginner mistakes. So I tried to offer advice anywhere I could to who I presumed to be a graduate student submitting a paper for the first time—only to find out later that the author is actually a well-established full professor 🤦♀️.

I am sitting at my doctor’s office, during office hours for acute cases, waiting room full of people, and I am the only one wearing a mask. They even have a sign that anyone who is sick has to wear a mask. Yet, no one does, no one cares.
