the NBA or betting on NBA games. The skeptic in me feels like this was all very intentional to announce these indictments right after the opening to the season and announce them together to tie as many recognizable NBA names as possible to illegal betting, even if that's not exactly what happened.

There were two separate issues going on; one was illegal betting activities in the NBA (this involved Terry Rozier). The other was around illegal poker games that had some ties to the Mafia, and Billups was associated with that one in some way. So you're right, his indictment had nothing to do w/

I hated when the "First Four" became a mixture of the last four in and the small conference winners having to fight for the right to be a 16 seed. This is just more of the same. Let the AQ teams be, they qualified, give them their seeding and stop making them jump through extra hoops.

Best part of the Eightco saga is that in 2023 the recently spun-off Cryptyde changed it's name to Eightco due to the crypto industry's escalating regulatory risks, instead focusing on existing subsidiaries Forever 8 and Ferguson Container. Only took two years, now they're back.
