I know someone who does that with her loved ones. Acts a straight asshole with the people closest to her, but wouldn’t dream of it “outside,” because she’s banking on people not dropping her ass like a hot potato. Er’body has a limit.
It’s not uncommon for kids to be “angels” at school and “chaotic” at home… Home is typically a safe space where you know people love you, so kids learn to push boundaries their without fear of losing favor with authority figures.
