This is a fascinating book. İt's difficult to believe that the first edition came out in 2002.

Denise Mina is a terrific writer and 'The good liar' is a terrific book. I think her books are getting better and better. Can't wait to read the next one

Just finished Simon Mason's excellent book, 'The woman who laughed '. It's the third 'Finder' mystery that I've read and I hope Mason is planning to write a whole load more. Really enjoyable

Just finished @nedboulting.bsky.social 's very entertaining book 'The accidental tour-ist: (final) despatches from the road.' Full of his trademark self deprecating witty anecdotes. Highly recommend it.

Just read 'Run' by Blake Crouch. Really entertaining, fast paced thriller. Not read anything by Blake Crouch before but I'll be looking out for his books now.

Just read @jakecampbell88.bsky.social 's excellent 'Between the salt and the ash'. It chronicles his pilgrimage around the passionate places among the passionate people of the North East. A place I still think of as hyem.

Really enjoyed 'Karla's choice' by @nickharkaway.com . Tried to read it as slowly as possible to make it last. One of the best things I've read for ages

Really enjoyed this fascinating book by @nigetassell.bsky.social . So many great songs and great memories. Made me dig out old forgotten albums and singles. Highly recommended

This is a fascinating book which looks at how the remains of fallen 'enemy' soldiers are dealt with. Highly recommend it.
