Matt wants transit in Cobb County
@mstigall.bsky.social
I’m a transit and attainable housing advocate who serves on the Cobb County Transit Advisory Board.

I help brands launch and build their fanbase community.

#CobbCounty
Cobb county is proposing to cut transit service and this is the schedule for public comment.

What a joke…

“Study links bus stops to most pedestrian crashes” might be the dumbest strawman chyron I’ve ever seen.

Still kinda shocked at this guy who said we are in a “second Revolution” and threatened the Cobb County Commissioners with tar and feathering.

What is happening?!?

This picture shows over 200,000 Cobb residents not being represented because Republicans in the GA state legislature redistricted Cobb’s Commission Districts to draw Jerica Richardson out of the district she represents.

It’s a shame that it’s not a bigger story.

I just LOVE how transactional emails treat us like we’re stupid.

If you’re using these tactics to drive sales and succeed, you will fail in the long run.

They already have. Just look at how they are designed now. All of these locations, the pedestrian is an afterthought and is actually put in dangerous positions.

Made a local version for Cobb County.

I’d say 3 things:

1. Divert the through traffic away from the square

2. Parking on perimeter (with good signage)

3. Build enough housing nearby so the square can thrive on locals.

That’s cute, I guess…but nothing holds a candle to Marietta’s Big Chicken.

And yes, the eyes and beak move.

Tonight, I won the jackpot at the Carnival Cups arcade game on my first attempt and my child thinks I am a superhero.

Gonna enjoy this victory for awhile!

Meanwhile, here’s the pic I took of 2 kids walking their bike where no sidewalk exists near a high school.

Tonight's the night, let's live it up
I got my money, let's spend it up
Go out and smash it, like, "Oh my God!"
Jump off that sofa, let's kick it off!

Translation: Join us at our monthly meetup tonight!

I can’t stress enough how much the ebike revolution can change Atlanta and the region.

6. Have fun.

This stuff gets hard, but we have to put in work to see the change we want.

Laugh. Create a bingo game of common phrases. Meet up for a drink after. Post memes.

Meet just to meet and get to know your neighbors.

As much as we’re focused on end results, the journey is a story too.
