My feelings exactly. What idiocy
What the ... having spent over 20 years writing Cabinet submissions, and taking pride in my work, I'm just over the fucking moon to learn this. How absolutely PATHETIC.

And how will people develop professional public sector writing skills? Are you INSANE, @albomp.bsky.social? #auspol

Finally, someone said it. AUKUS is like that dodgy group chat you can’t leave; full of drama, bad decisions, and one bloke named “Uncle Sam” who keeps sending missile pics no one asked for. Time to mute it permanently and reclaim the Wi-Fi.

The US should not be allowed to make Australia complicit in nuclear war. 50 years ago Whitlam believed that and he was right.

It’s time to end AUKUS. Close Pine Gap.

sadly, that was precisely what it was originally about. when i was a kid we still had a lot of WW1 survivors living in town. it was a proper memorial to all of their friends that died in the meat grinder. somber is not a sufficiently strong word.

pillar: combatants.

shield: deaths.

A lot of trans folk need and use this facility, along with those who are on benefits or have no income. This is not okay in the slightest.

"while Labor’s support for net zero creates no danger for the fossil fuel industry, it creates significant danger for our democracy as millions of voters are tricked into believing that they are voting to tackle climate change, when in reality they are voting for fossil fuel expansion"
Like ‘housing affordability’ ‘net zero’ has become one of those meaningless political sayings

Labors support for net zero hasn’t stopped them supporting new coal or gas or from spending billions on fossil fuel subsidies
