The Tonga and Samoa series was well welcomed and a success for England, but all the games were staged in stadiums with capacity of up to 25,000 in the traditional heart of the Rugby League. However, the appetite scheduled for the Australian visit pushed the Rugby Football League and RL advertising to think more - with the new Wembley and Everton land of 90,000 capacities, which can accommodate over 50,000 fans, among three guest stages.
