This is exactly why we need to be organized in our defense of the freedom to read. The book banners are organized & we'll funded. But they are also unpopular. Our numbers can beat their money

Here is a handout I made for my kid’s class last week, when I went in to talk to them about making books. I Frankensteined together a bunch of art I already had to make it, and filled other stuff in. But it was a big hit, so I’m sharing it here in case you know any kids interested in making books!

When does a book become historical fiction? This title Broken Strings takes place in 2002. I currently have it in realistic fiction but would it be considered historical fiction now? Opinions thoughts? #bookgenre #schoollibrary
