My one “good” class submitted papers and half of them just popped my prompt into ChatGPT. I feel defeated, and stabbed in the back. I can’t take ten more years of this.

I will take any work anyone can push my way. Ghost writing, copy editing, questions for pub quizzes, cereal box copy. Help me.

I recommend seeing THE THINGS YOU KILL, which opens Friday. I had a chat with director Alireza Khatami, which was fun. inreviewonline.com/2025/11/13/a...

Could not be less interested in SHAKESPEARE IN GRIEF. Ready for this lame year to be over.

Whats so unnerving, among many other aspects of the whole sordid Epstein miasma, is how incestuous the world of these elites are. Everyone knows everyone. The personal, social, and professional spheres all overlap.

Sending an email to jeevacation, just to see what happens.

The Dems have a wide open goal on the Epstein business. If the mainstream media won't bite, they could do massive ad buys.

BUT:

1) we know high profile Dems are implicated, with Clinton being the most obvious;

2) their big money donors don't want the stock market to fluctuate.

Wow, RENOIR is just an insufferable film. Like, I want to slap that kid. You're not a Ghibli protagonist!

As the years go by, one thing never changes. People act weird as shit when I tell them I don't like Snickers.

I think all of us need to stop pretending as if the Democrats in DC work for us. They are 100% beholden to big money. And as we know, late capitalist big money has no "long term." They want the next quarter earnings up, and if that blows up the world, they will just deal with that "later."

HAMNET sounds like a cooking channel focused exclusively on pork.

Once Chuck Schumer's back recovers from Lucy's football pull he will brush himself off and go enjoy two slices of Minnie's chocolate pie, before repairing to the champagne room for sex with a stripper who really really likes him!

It's interesting that the Senate Dems didn't make a negotiation point out of Johnson swearing in Grijalva.

It's almost as if everyone is really playing for the same team.

Hang on, when did government become so performative?

Schumer had to end all this so he could get back to Long Island and watch the Baileys fuck.

My low key conspiracy is that every billionaire democratic donor who saw a flight or a friend's flight out of Tetoboro cancelled on Friday forced this result on Schumer. This was not about helping people it was about helping the donor class not have any minor disruption of their life.

NIHILISTIC IRONY: "I'm saying this, and if you try to hold me to it, I was only kidding (but not really), what's your problem?"

PRODUCTIVE IRONY: "I am saying this, it's kind of silly that i have to say it, but there it is."

The Begley obit for James Watson is one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen. Having the last word beyond the grave. Larry David wishes he could be so deliciously spiteful.

pre-writing a devastating obituary for your enemy is god-tier hating of a kind you don’t often see anymore. renaissance haterism. beautiful stuff.
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

What people don’t get is, Trump appoints egregiously incompetent officials as a bizarro-world power move. “The world is what I say it is. These clowns are qualified because I say so.” Before it’s all over he will appoint a lower primate to the federal judiciary.
