Can’t wait until I can use AI for good in a manner similar to this example. There are now ways to have students chat with a bot in a controlled setting AND in French with comprehensibility. Tech has its dangers, BUT there is so much to be celebrated.

This year, I bought $14 Mardi Gras King cakes for classes and club. My baby turned 5yo yesterday, so his celebration was at the top of my agenda! No baking/prepping homemade treats this year. My nut allergy person had a cosmic brownie instead. Remember those kids. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Loved having our chef stick around after school to make chocolates with French Club! Always a well attended event for our high schoolers.

Changed the habitats project to a different hands-on art project along with a flyer written in French about the habitat and an endangered species from there. So fun! (They made a habitat in a shoebox prior to this semester. Problem was marine sci did it, too.)

Sent this list of slang to my friend in France. Her teenage son sent me several examples in French recently. Love it!
