Photos of weapons captured by the IDF show a QW-18 pattern launch tube similar to one displayed by Hezbollah during a military exercise in 2023. Note the distinctive yellow band around the tube. h/t Mike Picard for spotting the tube

otably, the trafficker was caught after border agents noticed a shopping bag of rifle mags in the front seat while he was trying to cross into Mexico. Hardly a master criminal, which is reflected in his pay - for risking his freedom, he was to be paid just $100 for the mags

Another breathtaking list of weapons linked to a US-based arms trafficker to Mexico, including an unidentified 'machinegun', an FN SCAR 17, and ammo/components for M60 and M249 machine guns. justice.gov/usao-az/pr/f... pic.x.com/4Y3huSKdJi

The "HG" designator for MANPADS tubes is also referenced in documentation accompanying MANPADS that were found onboard a plane transporting North Korean weapons that was interdicted by Thai authorities in 2009, as shown in the photo in the middle.

Here is a comparison of the markings on an HG series MANPADS tube spotted in Syria with the markings on the tube just seized in Lebanon. The "HG" part of the designator is clear and the style, content and placement of the markings are the same.

The IDF appears to have seized a North Korean HG pattern MANPADS launch tube and battery unit in a Hezbollah arsenal in southern Lebanon. If so, it would be the first ID of a DPRK MANPADS in Lebanon that I am aware of. idfanc.activetrail.biz/ANC17202011

Great video. Wish we had more like it. Here's a shot of the markings on the storage containers, which may be useful for ID purposes.
