I think I’ve officially become a cat lady. (I’m okay with that!) We welcomed another kitten into our home, Uni. He and his brother Goji have become fast friends while our older cat, Taivas isn’t too crazy about the new additions. #tonkinese #cat

Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of John Horgan. I met him in 2017 during the BC Teachers Institute on Parliamentary Democracy. We were all outside for an earthquake drill and I approached him for a photo. He was more than happy to take photos with all the teachers there that day.

A month ago, we lost our Zeus. On top of dealing with our own grief, we’ve been trying our best to comfort our sweet Taivas. He’s become more vocal and cuddly since we lost his brother. He’s far more liberal with his hugs (he literally gives us hugs) now that he doesn’t have his brother to snuggle.

Here is my sweet boy. Sadly we recently lost his brother. It’s been a tough month for many reasons.

It’s hard to believe that a month ago we lost our sweet kitty, Zeus. He was that one in a million kitty. He was simply the best cat ever. We were lucky to have 16 years but it wasn’t long enough. My heart is broken and I miss him every day. 💔
