Thanks to inspiration from @theresthistory.bsky.social, @holland-tom.bsky.social and Dominic Sandbrook, I’ve gone and booked a city break to Sarajevo for my birthday this October. Can’t wait to explore the history and culture

I went to a school reunion tonight (as apparently they’re gutting the whole place in January), and I saw my old year 4 teacher, the first who ever made me believe in myself, and it was emotional. She said I was a ‘firecracker’ of a personality.

Ok, what actually is the deal with Bovaer? I’ve seen that it’s becoming a Thing on the other place, but that place is now becoming so unhinged, I can almost safely assume that it’s a storm in a teacup.

I’ve caught up on last night’s #Strictly, and tbh, I only enjoyed 4 dances; Chris, Montell, Tasha and Jamie’s. Nothing wrong with JB’s but 99% of quicksteps bore me to tears. Sarah’s was a massive pile of ‘meh’ to me (and I love Fosse-style), and poor Pete was made into a total joke
