Buying a no-pull harness is a great management tool.

The harness stops your dog from pulling.

But it doesn't teach your dog what to do instead.
What Are You Trying To Buy When Looking At Certain Accessories For Your Dog?
There's a lot of questionable advertisements with pet products.

So proud of the work I've done with Min these past 4 years. She was at Seneca College King campus this morning for vet tech students to practice skills they'll need for work after graduation #bloodwork #physicalexam

If you believe prong collars don't hurt, here's a history lesson.

BTW, a prong collar not only hurts your dog, they are a tool for a "balanced" trainer to have a long-term income.

By introducing you to a modern device: the shock collar.
It’s 2025. Do Not Do As The [Ancient] Romans Do.
The prong/pinch collar has been described as a Medieval Torture device. That’s inaccurate. Because the design occurred far earlier.

Min doing DPT on my thighs. She is so intuitive - I often experience spasticity in my thighs. This behavior was uncued.

Having MS means one of my strengths is teaching dogs distance behaviors.

How? I intentionally insert distractions early on in a dog's education.

Furnace getting replaced. Tons of noise.

So proud of this little gal. Being a pandemic puppy = her social exposures were extremely limited.

Know what could be a really good review website?

Reviews on reviewers online. The reviews would implicitly be an assessment on reviewers' writing ability. With Google, you see how many reviews an account holder gives. There are definitely patterns.

There are some reviewers I hope to never meet.

TLDR: four subtypes.
Pattern 1-cross glial stress response: increased folding
Pattern 2-cross glial stress: DNA damage
Pattern 3-inhibitory ECM response to oligodendroglial differentiation.
Pattern 4-immune response failure which halts oligodendrocyte maturation

(Pattern 5 is regenerative.) #MS 🧵1

Furnace motor worn out. Family getting quotes for a new furnace tomorrow. Apparently the one we have is 10 years old.
