I noticed that my solar panels were getting covered in dust over the last couple of months- no rain. So, I went out and trained my hose nozzle on them for about 10 minutes- no ladder, no climbing. I got a 9% bump in electricity generation. That's math folks! #edusky

@quizizz.bsky.social added AI and I'm liking it. Kahoot did also, but I don't like theirs as much. With Quizizz, they help you make up answers for multiple choice questions. That's a time saver. I had Kahoot generate a bunch of questions, but the answers were wrong! #edusky

It's been a @quizizz.bsky.social summer for me. I really wanted to gamify my chapter reading guides for Statistics- I know I'm on the leading edge here😃. I spent some time with Kahoot and it's just not as good as Quizizz in my estimation. And Canvas quizzes are no fun at all. Quizizz is the one.

Updated graphic and post. @alicekeeler.com sent me a few links about the decentralized nature of this space which is huge. I had missed that in my first iteration of the graphic. #Edusky

One way to address AI is to change our focus from the end product to the process.

In Google Classroom, or whatever your LMS, instead of asking for "submit an essay" which is a task ChatGPT can do... ask for a journal of their learning.

I can see clearly now the rain is gone. I can see all obstacles in my way. Gone are the gray clouds that had me blind... look all around there's nothing but blue skies!
