High School math teacher who LOVES to read. I also love math, but reading is what I do for me. I love all genres and read by spells, sometimes I'm all fantasy, sometimes nonfiction, last year I concentrated on Booker award winners.
That's a good idea! I do the same thing, I'll start binge reading but I enjoy it a lot more(and retain more) if I can make myself slow down.

That's so true! Also I don't think I was making the distinction between graphic audio and regular narration. I tried listening to the regular narration. I can see where that would make a difference. If you ever get a chance Lincoln in the Bardo is narrated with a full cast and it's awesome.

There was a lot I couldn't remember while I was reading Onyx Storm, I'm excited to reread it from the beginning. I also wanted to see if there was any foreshadowing I could pick up on.

That makes me feel better, I didn't realize until I was through Onyx Storm how much I wanted to stay in that world with those characters.

I wasn't a fan of the audible version of Fourth Wing. There are so many characters and places I have a hard time doing audio.

Yes!! He was a highlight of Onyx Storm to me. I don't remember him. making as much of an impression in earlier books but I think I was focused on Violet and Xaden.

I love this book and I'm so happy to see it being recognized! Shesheshen was the BEST character. I finished the book several months ago and I still think about things she said and did.

I loved Trixie Belden books! I don't see a lot people talking about these and they were great!

James deserves every book award there is, Martyr is good too, although it wasn't as engaging as James. The Women is super easy to read and to me it's one of the ones you read in two or three sittings.
