We're near the end of January but I only just finished something so it's time to do one of those fun Media threads that I see people do.
I really do think the beauty of crossover shit is seeing something that resonates with you that you had no idea about before. It's nice to be able to explore shit you had no idea about.
Smash Bros. hype cycles just put a huge spotlight on how narrow a lot of Nintendo fans' horizons are when it comes to games.
Not even that many of them don't play anything outside of tentpole FP Nintendo games, it's that they also have NO curiosity beyond Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon.

Playing older obscure games really cooks me sometimes. I'll try and go for some cool optional thing and it won't work, so I'll look it up and have 4 different solutions that *may* work...
