Brats with peppers and onions and of course Chardonnay cuz I’m cooking (even if just a little bit). Does everyone eat this or is this regional? Never heard of it before I moved to Ohio.

Meet my great nephew born Wednesday. He’s a IV name wise, and since his dad is a golf pro I’m calling him Fore! Since I can’t be there for a while I’m sending some midnight snacks to the new parents. Chex mix is always a hit with them and this time probably more than ever!

Here’s some happy news for everyone. My nephew and his wife are preparing for their first child. That’s Millie helping. The train on the shelf was my grandfathers and it’s over 100 years old. Just wish Reddog was here for this. I can’t wait to meet little Liam!

Can’t recommend this book enough. Was saving it for a trip but I opened to page 1 and that was the end of that. I read it in one sitting. I laughed and cried. If you love animals it’s really worth it.

Someone is feeling better. She’s playing with balls which is her current favorite toy. She is actively batting at them which is why she’s blurry. I’m so thankful she is better

Today is her first day out of quarantine in my bedroom. Waited for the vet smells and other nasty stuff to go away. I left this morning,her on my bed,door open. Came home to find her in the family room with other two. She ate, she’s in my arms like she was before she got sick. Life is good.

She’s home. We’re spending the day together without the other two right now. Vet said she did really well and ate this morning. Didn’t even fuss when she was picked up to clean her so they think she was acting bad before cuz she felt so sick. Love she’s home even if she’s mad.

Update: She purred the whole time I was there while I pet her. Still hasn’t eaten so Doc is going to give her an appetite stimulant this afternoon. She’s had that once before and it worked. She did poop and pee while I was there and vet tech said drainage is now minimal. 🙏🏻

Well, she’s not happy. She was growling when I showed up. A lot. She wasn’t actually biting anyone but they had to put it on her cage cuz she’s that mad! She calmed down a bit and I pet her forehead while there. She hasn’t eaten yet but drank some. Looks like she’ll come home Monday!!!

Keep my baby in your thoughts. Got sick all of the sudden around noon. Turns out it’s an anal abscess. Largest one doc has ever seen or a dog or cat. Crazy. She will be at vet for a few days. She’s not happy but I just need her to be ok again.

Success. She did really well getting into the carrier. None of my blood was drawn and no fighting me. She cried a lot but I think most of it was acting. She’s eating and keeping her distance for now. Good day for all involved!!
