While everyone is dunking on Deciding to Win, I want to flag another section that is both revealing and sad: they are completely inventing a history to justify their prescriptions. No serious person thinks the GOP moderated on ACA, nationwide abortion, Medicare, Social Security, etc.
Sections 1.1 and 1.2 from https://deciding-to-win.org/, reading: "The Democratic Party has moved to the left since 20121.1 Since Barack Obama's successful reelection campaign, the Democratic Party has moved left on essentially every issue.1 The simplest way to demonstrate this shift is to look at the change in the share of Democratic members of Congress who cosponsored pieces of progressive legislation. As the table below shows, between 2013 and 2023, the share of cosponsors for progressive legislation increased substantially.2 The Republican Party changed between 2012 and 20241.2 Between 2012 and 2024, Republicans became more extreme on issues like democracy, the rule of law, immigration, and transgender rights. But Republicans also moved toward the center on several issues, including moderating their stances on Medicare and Social Security and dropping pledges to repeal the Affordable Care Act, ban abortion nationwide, and pass a constitutional amendment to prohibit same-sex marriage.3,4"

This section in particular directly contradicts their claim! The statement that they would *lose* American citizenship subject to certain conditions implies that absent these conditions they would be American citizens. Smith retaining Mexican citizenship was not one of these conditions.

A two-parter: wrong that Trump's victory is "clear" or otherwise notable (even compared to recent elections, it was pretty narrow) followed up by wishcasting that Trump will take the mandate and not do things he repeatedly said he will do.
Politico headline "Can Trump Be the New Reagan?", subheadline "A clear victory gives the president-elect a strength and credibility on the world stage that he lacked eight years ago."
