When he knelt down and peeked behind the bush, she jumped but then burst out laughing and threw her arms around his neck. He picked her up and carried her to the pond, where they gathered some stones and he taught her how to skim them across the water. She was frustrated at first because she kept throwing them straight into the water, but she soon picked it up, and she squealed with delight every time her stone went further than his did. It was soon time for them to go home, which she was disappointed about, but he promised to stop by the bakery on the bridge for a treat on the way back to the Diamond. After the bakery, they continued their walk home. He chuckled as he looked at her because she had chocolate all around her mouth and she just didn’t care. And if he was honest, neither did he. When they emerged, she had the biggest smile on her face as she held onto her new toy as tightly as she could. She skipped along the street until they got home. Once she’d had her dinner, he got her settled and tucked into bed. As she cuddled up to her new stuffed wyvern, he wondered if she’d be too excited to sleep. “What are you going to call your new wyvern, Amelia?” He asked. “Viago,” she replied without hesitation. He smiled at this beautiful little girl. Without even thinking about it, she’d decided to name this toy, which was giving her so much comfort, after him. He stroked her hair before kissing her head. “Thank you. Goodnight, my little Amelia. Te amo.” “Ar lath ma, Vi!” He looked back at her snuggling up under her blankets and smiled before closing the door and leaving her to sleep. For the first time in a long time, she’d had a good day, and that meant the world to him.

Since the #rqotd was on whether Rook and their LI had children, I thought I'd update this. As well as their eight biological children, Lucanis & Amelia adopted a little girl called Olivia. She was a 5-year-old elven child who was orphaned.

I have *no* idea what I've done to cause the colour mismatch in the first armour. It's the same for the skirmish jacket, too. Also, does anyone know if it's possible to reduce the clipping in the third armour (or remove the cloak)?

Lucanis planned to propose around a year after they got back from the VG, but shit hit the fan & it ended up being 2 years after. He took her to the Dellamorte family lake house, made her, her favourite meal, and got down on one knee under the moonlight & gave her his mother's engagement ring.
